A grade 4 aiming for a 5, a 6 aiming for a 7, or a 7 pushing for a 9: the plan is different for each, and we build it from a real past paper in the first lesson. Many Year 11 families take two lessons a week from January.

How Year 11 is assessed
Three papers of 80 marks each: Paper 1 non-calculator, Papers 2 and 3 calculator, all 90 minutes. Foundation covers grades 1 to 5, Higher grades 4 to 9. Papers are in May and June of Year 11.

GCSE Maths, £40 a lesson
60 minutes, one-to-one, at fixed weekly times. One lesson a week or more, billed weekly, pause for holidays, cancel anytime.

Questions parents ask
Is it too late to start in Year 11?
No, but the plan gets tighter the later you start. From September there is time to rebuild topics; from February we focus on the highest-mark topics and exam technique. Either way the first lesson tells us what is realistic.
One lesson a week or two?
One is right for most of the year. Two suits students aiming to move a full grade or more, or the final term before exams. You can add a second lesson from your profile at any point.
Do you cover AQA Level 2 Further Maths as well?
Yes, for students taking it alongside GCSE. It is a separate qualification with its own papers; see the AQA Further Maths page.
What does it cost?
