Monthly figures are the weekly price × 52 ÷ 12, an average for planning. You’re charged weekly, and paused weeks aren’t charged.
How billing works
Weekly, by card, and you stay in control from your account.
Book a weekly time
Choose your child’s day and time and pay for the first week by card. There is no sign-up fee.
Charged once a week
After that, the same amount is taken once a week for the lessons you booked. Nothing else is added.
Move a lesson
With 24 hours’ notice we move it to another time. Late changes are still charged, but you get one make-up lesson a month.
Pause for holidays
Up to four weeks a term from your account. Paused weeks aren’t charged and your time is held.
Cancel any time
From your account or by email. The week you’re in is the last one charged.
First-lesson guarantee: if it isn’t right, the first week is on us

Does the price change by subject?
No. The price depends only on the level: £45 for KS2 and KS3, £50 for GCSE and £55 for A-level, for every subject.
Is there a sign-up fee or a contract?
No sign-up fee, no packs to buy and no contract. You pay for the lessons you book, one week at a time.
When am I charged?
Weekly, by card. The first week is charged when you book, then the same amount once a week after that, for the lessons you booked.
Can we book more than one lesson a week?
Yes. Book as many weekly lessons as your child needs, in one subject or several. Every lesson is the same price for its level.
Can we pause for holidays?
Yes, for up to four weeks a term, from your account. Your weekly time is held and nothing is charged while you’re paused.
What if we miss a lesson?
Move it with at least 24 hours’ notice from your account and we’ll find another time that week where we can. With less notice the lesson is still charged, but you get one make-up lesson a month for exactly this.
What if the first lesson isn’t right?
Tell us within 24 hours of the first lesson and we refund the first week in full. You don’t need to give a reason.
How do I cancel?
From your account at any time, or email info@thetutorsroom.com. The current week is the last one charged and nothing more is taken after that.

How do your prices compare?
